Hi Lyn,
Freya and my mum had a wonderful time on Friday at the Theatre Royal. She seemed totally unphased by the whole experience (unlike my mum who found it stressful at times, Nora Batty tights seemed to be the problem!!) I wish I could have seen her, her dad was very proud of her. Thank you for all your hard work with Freya, we really have noticed a difference in her dancing and her self confidence.

What a lovely idea Lyn to do a Last Flight CD! It was such a special day for everyone and the cd will be a lovely way to remember it. I'm sure you are very proud of TBS - every one of them danced their hearts out.
Well done Lyn and thanks again for giving the students this great opportunity to perform. I know that being on any stage gives my daughter a buzz but to get onto the Theatre Royal stage was really something special for her.

No 4 - Exam Days

Just a little note to say thanks for Sunday. Initially when I heard the word 'exam' I had my reservations, but Mia absolutely loved it, and was so proud of her medal she even wanted to wear it to bed! She has talked about it everyday since, and it's been a great confidence booster for her.

Thank you once again for always giving us new dance opportunities. I absolutely loved the workshops on Monday night. I came away feeling totally fired up and just wanting to dance, dance dance.

No 6 - Dad’s comments Junior Associates Classes
Hi Lyn
Thanks for your letter regarding the offer of a place for Kate in the Ballet Schools Junior Associates training from August 2009. We've told her about it and she says she really wants to continue learning (even though the stretching sometimes makes her tummy muscles tickle afterwards :) ).
Thanks as ever for working so hard with the girls - we know they enjoy it each week. And as I said to you one of the show nights recently, the show was bigger and better this year and I (for a man!) thoroughly enjoyed it, even more so than previously. The fact that my two little starlets were in it was the icing on the cake!

No 7 - Annual Award Ceremony
Dear Lyn,
I don’t think words can express fully the immense sense of pride my husband and I felt yesterday evening when Holly received her award. We were both grinning from ear to ear and shed quite a few tears also! Holly, as you could see, was absolutely thrilled to bits.
We can’t thank you enough for instilling in Holly such a wonderful enthusiasm for, and enjoyment of, ballet, dance and music. Over the last wee while we’ve noticed Holly moving so beautifully when she’s dancing in her room or in the garden – she spends quite a bit of time putting on CDs and making up her own little dance routines! Thank you so very much.

No 8 - Annual Performance 2009
Dear Miss Lyn,
This was the first year Neve was involved in the show and I hope there will be many years to follow: it was an amazing experience for both Neve, myself (as a dresser) and the rest of the family watching in the audience.
This time last year, Neve pulled out of a show because she had lost all interest in going to the ballet (obviously with a different ballet school...) and now she loves dancing! First thing this morning after getting up, Neve put on all the wonderful outfits from the show and was dancing & tapping away as happy as ever!
Thank you and your TBS team for making this such a fantastic experience: I still cannot get over the fabulous costumes, amazing choreography and the wonderful overall organisation behind the scenes.... it all just really worked so increadibly well!

No 9- Grandparents feedback on Annual Performance 2009
Dear Miss Lyn
Frank and I would like to thank you very much for the Ballet Schools concert this week. We were there on Saturday evening and enjoyed it enormously. The organisation, from the audience's view, was extremely competent and the children all appeared to be enjoying their dancing.
One element which we particularly value in your school and in your performance is the participation of adult dancers. Quite apart from their presentation we feel it is an excellent role model for the young dancers who have the example of people continuing to practise and enjoy their discipline at all stages of their lives.
Having accompanied Ellie and her three sisters through their dancing years I have an idea just how much work goes into these performances and it is a delight for us to have the opportunity to follow Isla's progress in your care.

No 11 - Parent from Bellsquarry Ballet School- Go Dance Event Theatre Royal January 2010
Hi Miss Lyn, Just a little note to say that I think the show went so well last Friday.
When our Ballet School came on there was a gasp of sheer delight. Our costumes stood out a mile and even from the dress circle where I was sitting, all dancers involved looked fantastic.
We did feel a little nervous for our wee girls, but felt everyone did a fabulous job and the practice really showed.
Libby had a fantastic day and although she was nervous, enjoyed the time spent with older dancers and the adults too. It really was a special treat for them. I could not believe the huge smile on her face from start to end, it made me so proud to watch!!
Although I am gushing quite a bit, I feel all the hard work and effort you put in every week and every month of the year, pays dividends when you see how wonderful all the dancers are performing together.
I do believe that our dancers received one of the biggest applauses (even if I am slightly biased) but this was totally justified.
Roll on the show for this year!! If you need helpers (as well as dressers) please do not hesitate to contact me.
